Mr Lube Worker apparently fired after advertising for marijuana

A Toronto-based mechanic has apparently been fired from his role at Mr. Lube after putting a request on Twitter for someone to deliver marijuana to him at his place of work.

Sunith Baheerathan asked any dealers to deliver “a spliff or two to help me last this open to close” but his request was soon followed by a tweet from York Regional Police saying: “Awesome! Can we come too?”

The police force also brought the tweet to the attention of Baheerathan’s employer, which subsequently fired him, according to media reports.
