As we continue our countdown to this year’s biggest HR Tech event, The HR Technology Conference And Expo, we take a look at the big names leading the event.

 

Steve Boese

Steve brings more than twenty years of experience in the design and implementation of complex human resources technology solutions for global enterprises. Currently, Steve is the Inside HR Tech Columnist for Human Resource Executive® and HREonline.com. Steve is also a leading HR blogger and hosts the “HR Happy Hour Show,” a popular radio program and podcast dedicated to opening the lines of communication among HR thought leaders, practitioners and service providers in the global human resource field.

Previously, Steve was a director of talent management strategy for Oracle Corp., helping to create and deliver the next generation of Human Capital Management solutions. He has been invited to speak at numerous HR and industry events including the HR Executive Forum, the SHRM Annual Conference and several regional SHRM events. Steve’s blog was selected as the No. 1 talent management blog by the editors of the Fistful of Talent in February 2010. Steve is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and resides in Rochester, N.Y.

Dave Shadovitz

David has more than 30 years of experience in publishing and is the current Editor-in-Chief of Human Resource Executive®. He also serves as vice president of editorial for the LRP Magazine Group, publishers of Human Resource Executive® and Risk & Insurance magazines. David joined the LRP Magazine Group in 1987 and worked on the start-up of both publications.

Previously, he was editor-in-chief of Gordon Publication’s Computer Dealer magazine. In addition, he has held senior editorial positions for several industrial magazines. He is a recipient of a number of editorial awards, including three Jesse H. Neal Editorial Achievement Awards. In 1996 David was inducted into the National Academy of Human Resources, one of the HR profession’s most prestigious awards.

Bill Kutik (Co-Chair Emeritus)

Bill started the HR Technology® Conference with Dave Shadovitz in 1998. After 16 years of building it into the largest in the world, he stepped aside in 2013. The leading independent industry analyst of HR technology, Bill continues to write a monthly column for Human Resource Executive® (since 1990), host The Bill Kutik Radio Show® (since 2008), and create and moderate panels for events: exactly 103 since 1995.

He recently started the industry’s first broadcast quality video interview series Firing Line with Bill Kutik. In 2012, Human Resource Executive® named him one of the 10 “Most Powerful HR Technology Experts” and The Huffington Post in 2013 listed him in its “Top 100 Social HR Experts on Twitter.” Bill has a BA from Harvard University and lives in Westport, CT.
