In HRchat episode 333, I talk with John Morgan, President of Lee Hecht Harrison about why he thinks companies need to re-imagine workforce planning and development approaches. LHH recently commissioned the Future-Proofing the Talent Pipeline survey which captures responses from over 2,000 global HR decision-makers and leaders, across several industries. John and I hone in on some of the findings. John explains what LHH is seeing when it comes to hiring, upskilling, redeployment, and coaching. We’ll be delving into some of the findings today. For example, John highlights the significance of nearly half (48.9%) of US organizations currently placing an increased focus on diversity initiatives as a way to future-proof their talent pipelines.
