Payback Incentives, the online incentive management program, will be featured at this year’s HR Technology Conference & Exhibition (October 7-9, 2013, Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, NV).

The system provides HR professionals the ability to handle everything from goal setting to tracking and reporting to a wide range of incentive payouts.  In addition, attendees will also be able to take a demo of Blue Sky e-Pass™, the spot recognition program that provides the gift of convenience for managers, the gift of choice for employees.

Both systems will be on display at the Payback Incentives Booth #654 throughout the conference along with guest appearances from the Sprigg Talent Management Systems team

Payback Incentives was launched in 2006 while Blue Sky e-Pass officially debuted at the annual SHRM Conference in Chicago in June 2013.

“Employee incentives are proven to help improve morale and teamwork, while driving results and combating turnover” said Jack Martin, Partner at Payback Incentives, a J. Fitzgerald Group company. “What we’ve seen, however, is that most companies – large and small – attempt to manage their programs manually, through spreadsheets.  That’s why we developed both online options – to give employers the ability to simplify and streamline the entire process.”

Blue Sky e-Pass™ lets employers create customized recognition certificates – called “e-Passes” – and then either print and hand deliver or email to the recipients.  Employees then use the pass to purchase a wide variety of merchandise and national merchant gift cards on the Blue Sky website (http://www.blueskypass.com).  The passes only cost .99 each and each point is worth $1, meaning a $25 pass only costs the employer $25.99.  The employee is not charged anything further for shipping, handling or tax – making it a very meaningful award.

“Too many reward companies devalue the points that are given to employees – so someone may earn 100 points in their system, but it may only get them a $10 item because of all the fees associated with the program,” according to Martin.  “But with Blue Sky, our intent was to keep the costs as low as possible so the employee gets the true value of the reward.  There are no other fees to use the system – so it really is a cost-effective option for companies.”

Payback Incentives was created for those requiring a more robust incentive management system – while drastically reducing administrative time. It streamlines multiple incentive programs into one cloud-based, company-branded website (http://www.paybackincentives.com).

The system allows companies to set the parameters of the program, and then track the goals, payout awards when the goals are met, and also tracks for tax reporting. The program is totally configurable to handle a wide range of program types, including:

  • Recognition – peer-to-peer and manager-to-employee
  • Performance
  • Safety
  • Health & Wellness
  • Training
  • Attendance

Depending on the program, employees can enter data into the site (for peer-to-peer recognition) or it can be entered via file upload. Employees can view their results dashboard – and receive payouts including merchandise, cash or gift cards. Payback Incentives also offers the option of tying into company rewards such as time off, schedule flexibility and more.
“We connect the dots between the goal and the reward for employers,” Martin said.  “While we have vendor partners that provide any type of award – we also allow companies to use their own form of rewards, making it the most flexible system on the market.”

Live demonstrations for both programs will be available at the HR Tech Show, October 7-9 at Booth #654.  Visitors taking a demo will be eligible to win a $50 Blue Sky e-Pass.
