Organizational Planning and Analysis

Why is organizational planning and analysis important? Well, most organizations don’t remain the same. Rather, they continuously evolve, and constantly need shaping and finessing in order to perform. Research from orgvue and CEBR found that companies that invest in organizational planning and analysis have a 2x increase in productivity growth. For the U.S. economy; that’s potentially worth $100 billion!

The current method of organizational design, however, is falling behind the needs of the modern-day workplace. Employees are struggling to understand where they are, let alone defining their plans and aspirations for the future. Most organizations invest 90-100% of HR resources in operations and only 10% in data and planning. Furthermore, most CEOs make few decisions based on HR data!

Today’s guest believes “this needs to change if organizations want to be forward-proof and prosperous“. Rupert Morrison is CEO of orgvue, a global HR and organizational planning company that believes that the brightest business leaders need to “design for disruption and turn it into a competitive advantage”.
