Recruitment

In HRchat episode 280, we talk about how the goals and operations of HR departments changed as a result of the pandemic. We’ll also look at ways working from home caused challenges to hiring and onboarding processes.

My guest this time is Pauline James, Founder and CEO of Anchor HR Services, a firm on a mission to help organizations with implementing the solutions required to drive a great employee experience and business results during changing times.

Listen and get Pauline’s take on:

  • How has the challenge of assessing organizational gaps and needs changed since the outbreak of Covid?
  • What are some of the unique obstacles (and opportunities) of trying to onboard someone in a fully remote way?
  • What are businesses doing right to retain as many employees as possible and pivot in order to come through the other end of the Covid crisis strong, nimble, and ready to hire again?
  • Anchor HR recently celebrated its 5 year anniversary. Tell me about producing and hosting the Resiliency Re-imagined virtual conference in Q1 of 2021 to celebrate the milestone.
  • Looking forward – beyond the current mire we’re all in – what are you hoping to see, and to support, in organizations?
