About Bob Pulver

Bob Pulver is a technology strategist who has spearheaded transformation and innovation across Fortune 500 companies and startups. His journey began at IBM, where his career path traversed myriad domains and disciplines, from enhancing client experiences, streamlining supply chains, and managing program, product, and market research initiatives. Working closely with IBM Research and IBM Consulting, Bob advised senior executives on leveraging emerging technologies and digital transformation to drive growth, increase engagement, and improve experiences.In 2016, Bob became the Global Program Leader for IBM Watson’s Cognitive Build, accelerating IBM’s AI transformation through a global intrapreneurship program that triggered significant investment opportunities.

As NBCUniversal’s Director of IT Strategy and Innovation, Bob developed automation roadmaps for the Global CIO, led strategic planning exercises that balanced business, technology, and workforce goals, built internal products and services for the successful adoption of cloud computing, and piloted modern approaches to talent transformation and optimization.

Bob pivoted to the talent and HR technology space in 2020 as an independent advisor to staffing firms looking to modernize their operations, and later as Principal Research Analyst for TalentTech Labs, a boutique research and advisory firm focused on talent acquisition and talent management technologies.

Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for Responsible AI, Bob founded Cognitive Path, LLC, an advisory practice guiding organizations to build and use AI ethically and fairly. He is also a certified independent auditor of AI, algorithmic, and autonomous systems, ensuring compliance with anti-bias regulations, and is working towards his AI Ethics certification.

Bob recently launched ‘ElevateYour AIQ’, a podcast dedicated to helping all talent improve their readiness for our AI-augmented future and making his audience more aware of the disruptive potential of AI in our professional lives.

With Bob’s systems-thinking approach to problem-solving and a track record of challenging convention to inspire change, he stands as a visionary leader shaping the responsible adoption of advanced technologies for business and society.
