GO1.com Launches Integration With Microsoft Teams as More Organizations Work and Learn Remotely
Businesses everywhere are adjusting to the new normal, making the need for remote collaboration and learning tools more necessary than ever. As social distancing and work-from-home policies continue to extend, organizations are spending more of their in-person training dollars on remote learning tools that enable them to manage, train, and motivate their employees online.
To better serve this demand, GO1.com, the network of content providers and learning management systems, has integrated with the Microsoft Teams platform to enable any organization using Teams to access the world’s largest library of online learning resources, and much more.
GO1 connects to learning management systems and content providers, serving as the hub of the learning ecosystem. GO1 enables organizations to deliver their own learning content, or popular third party content, in the systems they use every day, like Microsoft Teams.
The GO1 Microsoft Teams app creates a single place to learn within Teams by bringing learning content directly into Microsoft Teams and enabling individuals to find, consume, share, and discuss learning resources. The app can pull in learning resources from Teams files, a computer, web links, a learning management system, and GO1’s extensive library of learning resources. The GO1 app supports interactive content formats like SCORM, AICC, and xAPI, in addition to allowing organizations to tailor the learning resources that are visible in different teams. With learning resources easily accessible and conversations around learning resources only a click away, GO1 delivers an amazing end-to-end learning experience within Teams.
As part of the launch of the GO1 Teams app, through the end of June 2020, the GO1 Premium subscription, with tens of thousands of learning resources, will be available for free to any organization using the GO1 Teams app.
Additionally, GO1 has made all COVID-19 related learning resources (e.g., remote working, health and wellness) available for free to help organizations continue to perform and feel supported during this time of disruption and change.
