Organizations are constantly seeking innovative ways to optimize team performance and foster employee engagement. As companies strive to achieve a culture that fosters cohesive and productive teams, they are turning to purpose-built Team Experience Platforms (TXPs) to unlock their potential.

A cutting-edge TXP goes beyond traditional project management tools and instead focuses on creating a unique environment where teams can thrive. By harnessing the power of technology underpinned by behavioral psychology principles, a TXP enables teams to engage and perform at their best.

One of the key advantages of a purpose-built TXP lies in its ability to provide continuous shared insights and action plans. By collecting and analyzing data on team dynamics, individual strengths, and collaboration patterns, the platform offers valuable feedback and actionable recommendations. This data-driven approach empowers teams to identify areas for improvement, strengthen team cohesion, and leverage individual talents for optimal outcomes.

By embracing a purpose-built TXP, organizations can revolutionize team experiences and unlock new levels of performance. In this blog series, we will delve into the specific benefits and features of a TXP, showcasing how it can drive success and elevate team performance in the modern workplace. Stay tuned for our upcoming articles that will explore the transformative potential of a purpose-built Team Experience Platform.

James is passionate about the impact teams and managers have on employee engagement and has been the driving force behind the development of the PepTalk Team Experience Platform.

With his cousin Bernard Brogan, James founded PepTalk after recognizing the need to use the lessons he has learned in sports and make them transferable to the workplace. In sports, teams invest money, time and energy into the team dynamic, and he believes PepTalk will help create that same team experience within organizations.

James trained as a solicitor and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UCD and a Diploma in Sports Law. Prior to PepTalk, James was Managing Director of Legacy Consultants, a company he co-founded which is now one of the leading sponsorship and communications companies in Ireland. James is also an advisor to a number of start-ups.

Questions for James include:

  • PepTalk is a Team Experience Platform – tell us what that means to you
  • How important is it to the hiring process that candidates can see a potential employer invests in tech to ensure high levels of employee engagement?
  • Based on your sports background, talk about which elements you were keen to be included in the new platform.
  • How have your customers been using PepTalk?
  • What’s next for PepTalk – we heard you are moving to the US – tell us about that.
