The Space Between, a training and problem-solving workspace is set to officially open it’s doors on Nov 16th. The venue will offer a range of guided services, as well as the ability to rent space for offsite meetings or training sessions. Designed to help companies improve their processes and teamwork, The Space Between is an affiliate of J. Fitzgerald Group (JFG), a full-service integrated marketing communications and friend of The HR Gazette.
“We’ve operated an advertising agency at the same site for 16 years and the one thing we’ve always heard from clients is that they needed help solving human resources and corporate challenge to improve their teams and marketing efforts,” said Jack Martin, President of JFG and Partner in The Space Between. “We’ve conducted focus groups, brainstorming sessions and company meetings around the world via the agency, but now we’re giving companies everywhere a chance to bring their teams to our space for intensive workshops so they can better solve issues.”

The Space Between has teamed up with creative problem-solving professionals, business and life coaches, team building experts and more to help guide the sessions. In addition, JFG boasts professionals with experience leading marketing planning sessions, search engine optimization (SEO), public relations, brainstorming, focus group facilitation and more.
The only facility of its kind in Western New York, The Space Between has two large meeting rooms that can accommodate a total of 70 people. The rooms can be rented individually or together for half- or full-day sessions. Companies can also rent two board rooms for smaller groups and a training room for up to 20 participants. There are also three add-on spaces – including a game room, an in-house pub and a deck and patio overlooking the 200-year-old Erie Canal. In addition to the learning sessions, the center will offer complete after-hours packages – so teams can visit Niagara Falls, take boat tours, wine tours, complete zip line and ropes courses, and much more.
“We know that the secret to a great work session is to also build in some downtime and fun – and we want to encourage companies to explore the beauty of Western New York and Niagara County,” Martin explained. “Everyone has heard of Niagara Falls, but there’s so much more to explore throughout the region.
