#HRChat Recap: Toxic Culture – Don’t Get Burned

Whether you’ve experienced a toxic workplace culture, or just heard the tales from others, it’s something to avoid. But that might be easier said than done, which is why we tackled the topic of toxic cultures in our most recent #HRChat.

The signs of a toxic culture (negative cliques, closed doors, “not my problem” attitudes) all have a negative impact on morale as well as productivity.  The symptoms may be subtle but if they aren’t addressed early on, they can spiral out of control to negatively impact employees, customers and event the bottom line. But don’t despair, with the support and knowledge of HR pros like those who joined the chat, it’s possible to address a toxic culture and create something better in its place.
