Jamie Hoobanoff is founder and CEO of The Leadership Agency, a recruitment firm that helps companies hire the best leadership talent. A professional recruiter with more than a decade of experience sourcing talent and hiring leaders for some of the country’s biggest companies, Jamie has represented hundreds of brands, and has personally interviewed more than 10,000 people and placed an estimated 3,000 in the workforce. She is known for putting the right people together, making genuine connections, asking the right questions, and coming up with innovative solutions and approaches that others miss.
Jamie began her career as a recruiter with 1-800-GOT-JUNK, working directly with the company’s founder and CEO. In this role, she established the company’s recruitment team, hired more than 100 sales people, and created measures to track sales team performance against recruitment metrics. Prior to founding The Leadership Agency, Jamie was the first VP and Partner at a sales recruitment agency where she exceeded established targets, and supported the firm’s expansion into the US.
Jamie is the developer of C.O.R.E., a priority approach used by The Leadership Agency to analyze leaders. She is the President of the American Association of Sales – Toronto Chapter; and a founding member of The Big Push, a business accelerator that provides service in exchange for equity to female founded startups.
