Employee engagement is one of the greatest HR struggles right now. Knowing the wide-spread effects disengaged employees can have on an organization, HR leaders are scrambling to find the elusive solution. Well, we might be able to finally take a giant step in the right direction.

The infographic below — created by Quantum Workplace, a company dedicated to providing every organization with quality engagement tools that guide their next step in making work better every day — shows that often what separates engaged and disengaged workplaces is how employee feedback is approached.

Some highlights include:

  • Employee engagement is important to leadership at 90% of highly engaged companies, compared to only 20% of disengaged companies.
  • Disengaged companies are 15x more likely to never have administered an employee survey, compared to highly engaged companies.
  • 85% of highly engaged organizations surveyed employees in the past year.
  • Employees whose managers follow up with them following a survey are 12x more likely to be engaged the following year than those who don’t experience follow-up.
